Malachi 3:10 “Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty
I can’t believe it’s November 3rd. It has been the craziest year. But I woke up feeling so good this morning. Going back to Church has changed my life. I feel free. I feel loved and supported. I feel Blessed and happy. This is all thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who died for my sins. This last Sunday sermon really hit home. It was about tithing. Giving back to the Lord 10% of my earnings. We studied Malachi 3:10.
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
It such a powerful message. Not only should we trust the Lord with all our needs, but the Lord should also trust us as well. Are we there for Him 100%? Are we putting the Lord first and above all else in our lives? After all he has done for us?! He should be #1.
I began to tear up a little during Sunday mornings service because I know time and time again, the Lord has taken care of me financially. He has always been there for me and my Family. 10% of our earnings is nothing compared to the ridiculous amount of money we spend daily on food and entertainment alone. I went again online today and gave to the Church this morning. I didn’t do it out of guilt or shame. I did it because my heart wanted to. I trust the Lord will take care of me financially.
I woke up to the sun was shining. I got an extra hour of sleep last night. Thanksgiving is around the corner. I can’t wait to decorate for Christmas. My heart is full of Joy this Monday.
I still miss my Mom but I know she’s having the best time in Paradise. I know she’s okay and that makes me smile.
I am very grateful to have found a beautiful Christian Church near my house. I am more than grateful to have a Husband who goes to Church with me and loves to worship the Lord as much as I do.
I know the Lord is going to get me through the rest of this year and 2026 will be amazing.
I thank you Lord for helping me find my true passion. I love writing about Jesus, I love being a Christian and I love using my voice to worship the Lord almighty. Thank you, thank you, thank you Lord.
1 Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you". This verse encourages believers to give their worries to God through prayer, understanding that He is sovereign and intimately concerned with their lives. It's an exhortation to trust God with your concerns, rather than being consumed by anxiety.
